Amazing Toba
Unbeliably beatiful Lake Toba!! (North Sumatra, Indonesia)
Cool and spectacular vista amazed us during our December`07 trip there. We spend about US $ 180 in overall for 2 person (3D, 2N). We departed from Medan, the capital of North Sumatra.
We hired a Javenese driver cum tour guide. He is kind, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained extensively about the Lake and its surrounding for nearly the whole journey.
Lake Toba is the largest volcanic lake in the world, third largest lake by size in Souteast Asia. This is a "must-visit" destination in Indonesia. It is a good place for relaxation and serenity lovers. Lake Toba offer you a perfect combination of panoramic hills view, historic culture, soothing water and last but not least unforgettable experiences and excitement. All with CHIP PRIZE!!

Samosir, or Pulau Samosir, is a large volcanic island in Lake Toba. Lake Toba is located in the north of the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. My Activities in Samosir Island:
I rent a bike about Rp 10.000,-(US $ 1)/ 30 minutes. I bike around samosir Island and take picture for every moment with my camera handphone. It`s me on the side view of Lake Toba.
I very enjoyed this activity and very happy to bike around the Samosir Island.
